My career has been a mosaic of multi-talent. I am a trained Chef, owned 2 restaurants
with my husband Peter in Glen Ellen, CA and Taos, NM.
While in Sonoma I created a food line called Lesley B Fay fine foods of Sonoma that I sold
to the gourmet industry. I won an award at the mustard museum. I continued to do private
label for wineries in Napa and Sonoma CA.
I have done many years of Interior Design and Real Estate with my husband Peter. Taos &
Palm Desert.
In San Miguel I had a showroom and created custom furniture, upholstery, and sold
fabrics. Helped create custom paint colors, and managed home remodels.
How do I fit into this new idea of virtual Real Estate and global luxury? Because I always
take care of my clients and want the best for them. I listen to their needs and tailor my
ideas and work towards them. People really like and trust me.
My little tienda in Distrito SOMA San Miguel is where I meet my clients, do my real estate,
sell the clothing line SHIFT, PROVECHO Pottery, handmade dishware from SMA with the
colors of San Miguel and a SOFA Sleeper San Miguel.
I can juggle projects easily, handle stress without bitching and laugh often.
My husband Peter and I have been married 35 years, we have a son Patrick who is a
weatherman in Buffalo NY, with his wife Kimberly and their two children William and
Francesca.
In our house in San Miguel, we have Chico, a rat terrier-chi who is a rescue, Diego a big lug
of a Maine Coon cat who is a rescue and now Cleo a little Calico who came to my
carpenter friend’s door in the rain, they all love each other and get along fabulously.
I rescue animals and try to help raise money for rescue animals with my clothing line
SHIFT, clothing for a cause.
I ride an Electric Trike to work and back unless it is raining and walk to Centro in San
Miguel with my husband and Chico. We used to have another dog Jake so maybe we can
have 2 dogs soon. We are so lucky to live her. It is a gorgeous town with lovely people and
excellent weather. Call me if you are coming to visit, we would love to meet and show you
